Obituary: Jane Newman Edwards

Jane Newman Edwards "Janie" Jane Newman Edwards, 64, passed away April 9, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born Dec. 1, 1941 in Salt Lake City to Harold T. and Joan Gilbert Newman. Married Robert Lee Edwards July 12, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. She is our Sweetheart. Jane retired from US West after 30 years of service. She loved her family, travel and crafts. Survived by her husband; two children, Tammy (Byron) Heaton and Bobby Edwards; two grandchildren, Katrina and Nicholas Heaton; mother; two sisters, Carol Christensen and Nancy (Keith) Arnold; mother and father in-law, Leland and Jean Edwards; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Marlin) Bartschi, Karen (Tom) Hansen; brothers-in-law, Richard (Patty) Edwards and Michael (Debbie) Edwards; numerous nieces and nephews, and honorary grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father; brother, Harold G. Newman. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 12 noon at the Cottonwood Heights 1st Ward, 7075 South 2245 East, where a viewing will be held from 10 to 11:45 am prior to services.
