Jennie Williams Adams 11/29/1914~4/11/2006 Genevieve "Jennie" Williams Adams, born November 29, 1914 in Lovelock, NV to Thomas H. and Mary Etta Penney Williams, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the age of 91. Married Loyd H. Adams on April 28, 1935 in Pioche, NV. He preceded her in death December 21, 1965. Lived in Kanosh, UT and California for awhile, but her favorite home was across the street from Liberty Park in Salt Lake City where she lived most of her life. She used to love to sit on her porch and visit with people going by. She was a member of the Liberty Park Ward and had numerous callings. She cherished her many friends there and you never doubted her love of the Savior. Loved to travel and be on the go and was always the first in the car. We have many fond memories of family camping trips. We loved to go to her house and spend the day watching the parade on the 24th of July. We will always remember her wonderful Christmas parties and how magical the house seemed at Christmastime. She had many challenges in her life and always made lemonade out of lemons. Her most precious possession was her six children: Madelyn Billington (Richard-deceased), Thomas W. (Jane), John L. (Teresa), Raymond J.-deceased (Virginia), LoyDean Bobo (Fred), Stanley D. (Rita). She was very proud of them and called them the jewels in her crown. She had 27 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren and they will all miss her dearly. With the married partners included, her posterity totaled 90 family members. Graveside service: Friday, Apr 14, 2006, 12 pm in Kanosh Cemetery. Viewing: Fri at 10:30 a.m. at the Kanosh LDS Church. Many thanks to nurses and staff at the Millard County Care Center in Delta. She said they treated her like a queen with their loving and gentle care.
