Judge's remarks disturbing

I am disgusted by the remarks of Judge Stephen Henriod (April 12). It is ironic that a staunch supporter of the law would suggest animal abuse as a solution. Do we really need a public official who is so caught up in the letter of the law that he lacks basic human respect and kindness?
