Obituary: Mary Haight Blair

Mary Haight Blair 1922 ~ 2006 Mary Haight Blair passed away April 12, 2006. She was born June 30, 1922 in Tremonton, Utah to Hector C. and Phoebe Keller Haight. She married J.D. Blair, May 1, 1942. Mary proudly accompanied J.D. during his tours of duty throughout the U.S. during his 30 year Air Force career. Of all the places they were stationed, she especially enjoyed their six years in Alaska. Throughout her life she held numerous jobs in the accounting field. Mary enjoyed square dancing, bowling, reading and caring for her dogs. She loved to needlepoint and knit, leaving a loving legacy of handcrafts. Mary is survived by her son Michael (Traci) Blair and their children Mindee (Nathan) Holman and Marlee Blair. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Joan (William) Higgs, Sharon (William) Simpson, James (Carol) Haight, Paula (John) Miller and sister-in-law Kathryn Haight. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jack Haight and her husband. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, where a viewing will be held for friends and family one hour prior to services.
