The Clearfield City Recreation Department has teamed up with dog trainer Carol Braegger to offer dog obedience classes to local residents. Through the classes, dogs six months and older are invited to learn the basic doggie manners such as sit, stay, down, heel and come. Owners will learn how to nurture their animal and create a trusting bond with it.

The class costs $50 total and will be held on Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. beginning May 4 and going through June 8. Human participants must be 12 years or older. For more information or to register, visit www.reconline.org or call 525-2790.
