MURRAY — Are you looking to create your own great home library? The Friends of the Murray Library will be holding a used-book sale on April 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Murray Library, 166 E. 5300 South, in the auditorium.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to benefit the 2006 summer reading program for area youth.

There will be a special "Friends Only" sale for members of the Library's Friends group from 10 to 10:30 a.m. before the sale opens to the general public. Membership will be available that morning for $5.

The public can choose from hundreds of nearly new and used fiction and nonfiction titles in hardcover and paperback. With most items priced under $1, the book sale is a great place for bargain hunters to find children's books, novels, mysteries, cookbooks, reference texts and more. A limited supply of CDs and audio and video cassettes will also be available.
