There are powerful and convincing arguments on both sides of the illegal immigration issue. Too bad we don't have the wisdom of Solomon. Most reasonable people — including Congress — agree onthe need to secure U.S. boarders. After that, self interest and ideology polarize the debate. The jockeying by both parties to change the law is simply to see who will be viewed most favorably by the Spanish speaking voters.
