Chabad Lubavitch of Utah has launched what it calls the first comprehensive online space for Jewish women.
The site, www.chabadutah.com/women, in conjunction with Chabad.org, provides information about tradition, life-cycle events, household issues, money matters, relationships and more from the Jewish woman's perspective.
"It's one site, one resource for women to go to with all of their concerns and interests, from the practical, to the esoteric, to the kabbalistic," says Sharonne Zippel, co-director of Chabad Lubavitch of Utah. "You have a whole range of topics in one place."
The site includes essays on being a Chassidic feminist, a child's first words, practical features on cost-efficient ways of hosting large groups for meals, and poetry, among other offerings.
