Norris L. Harmon 1929 ~ 2006 Norris L. Harmon, special husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, son, brother, and friend, passed away April 13, 2006 in Payson, Utah. He was born in Smithfield, Utah, the eldest child of Lawrence Harmon and Norma Littledyke Harmon. His happy childhood years were spent in Logan, Utah. The family moved to Salt Lake City where he graduated from South High. Norris married JoAnn (Jody) Neilson June 30, 1948 in Salt Lake City. They had three daughters, Susan, Kris, and Kathy. They lived in Fillmore, Murray, Sandy, Plain City and the last four and a half years in Spanish Fork. Norris' career years were spent in sales of wholesale turf equipment throughout Utah, Nevada, and Idaho. Norris and JoAnn have enjoyed golf, fishing, camping, pipe organs and music, dogs, building birdhouses and bird watching, and FAMILY. Norris is survived by his wife, JoAnn; daughters, Susan (Lon) Heiner, Kris (Lane) Shurley; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Norma Harmon; brother, Dan Harmon; sister, Karla Cordery; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and daughter, Kathy. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at the Wolf Hollow 1st Ward Chapel, 1150 East 1240 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call Monday evening, April 17, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah or Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
