Obituary: Iva Catherine Gibbs

Iva Catherine Gibbs 10/10/14 ~ 4/14/06 Iva passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2006. Iva was born October 10, 1914 in Elsinore, Utah to Niels and Dagmar Christensen. She married the love of her life, James H. Gibbs and had two children, Bernadine and Reed. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Bernadine and Glen Jones (Elsinore, UT); grandchildren, Jim and Donna Jones (Liberty, UT), Julia and Shaun Layton (South Jordan, UT), and Troy and Sandy Jones (Richfield, UT), brother, Harvey (Salt Lake City, UT), 12 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James, her son Reed, and brothers, Bert, Ray, and Clarence and a grandson, Scott. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 20th, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, with a viewing one hour prior to services. The family wishes to thank CareSource and particularly Yolanda and Ruth for the care they gave to Iva.
