Kelsey Bird 1995 ~ 2006 RICHFIELD, UTAH - Our dear sweet daughter and sister Kelsey, of Richfield was taken suddenly to her heavenly home Saturday April 15th after a tragic ATV accident. Kelsey and her identical twin sister Courtney came into the world together on November 28, 1995 to excited parents Roger and Janet Bird. They were inseparable in life and best friends; their laughter and friendship a daily joy to witness. Kelsey loved life and showed it each day in everything she did from singing, to biking, dancing, sports, and hiking in the hills with family and friends. Kelsey made friends easily and was loved by everyone. Stories read at night by mom and dad developed into a love of reading and learning for Kelsey. Since the time she could talk, Kelsey often expressed her love of God and her heavenly home. She seemed to have an awareness of how short and precious life is and would tell her parents and her sisters' constantly that she loved them. Her daily prayers always included a desire that "no person or animal in the whole wide world would be hurt" and she daily expressed her gratitude for all of her blessings individually, "and much, much more". Kelsey was preceded in death by her Uncle Kelly Kimball. She is survived by her parents Roger and Janet Bird, and her sisters, Alicia, Jessica (Jesse) Barker, Lindsey, Megan and her beloved twin Courtney; also grandparents Ralph H. and Nedra Kimball, St. George, and Vern and Veloy Bird, Kearns. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Kelsey, words cannot express how much we love you and will miss you. You have brought so much happiness into our lives and insight into spiritual things. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for the time we had here on earth to hold you in our arms and learn by your loving, selfless example.
