BYU golfer Clay Ogden will join seven other collegiate golfers to represent the United States in the 2006 Palmer Cup in Prestwick, Scotland, June 29-30.

Joining Ogden in the annual Ryder Cup-style competition between the United States and their counterparts from Europe, will be Baylor's Ryan Baca, Duke's Ryan Blaum, Vanderbilt's Luke List, Georgia's Brian Harman and Chris Kirk and Georgia Tech's Roberto Castro and Kevin Larsen.

"I'm really excited," said Ogden. "This is a great honor to go over to Scotland and represent the U.S. and BYU golf. It should be a great opportunity for me."
