OREM — A librarian at Utah Valley State College involved in planning the 180,000-square-foot Digital Learning Center was recently named Utah Librarian of the Year.

Kimberly Rollins is an assistant library director. The award comes from the Utah Library Association and recognizes one librarian who has accomplished an outstanding achievement in a library, media-center or library-science education.

Rollins sits on the UVSC Campus Copyright Committee and was chairwoman for the 2005 library association conference and has since served on various ULA committees and leadership positions.
