OREM — The Utah Regional Ballet Company will present an "Evening of Brilliance" under the direction of Jacqueline Colledge this month.

The ballet company has been in residency at Utah Valley State College since 1995.

The performance will feature "Meadow Pas de Deux," a piece from the Company's original work, "Legend of Timpanogos," choreographed by Colledge.

"Focal Pointe" will also be performed. "Focal Pointe," the winner of the Choreo-Plan award at the Regional Dance America Festival, was choreographed by Heather Gray, an adjunct faculty member in the dance department at UVSC.

"This concert will offer a variety of works that will appeal to audiences of all ages," said Colledge. "The company is so diverse, each dancer brings a unique artistic approach to this performance. I'm really excited about the performance and proud of our company."

Utah Regional Ballet's principal dancers, Brittany Moss and Alex Silva, will also perform the "Don Quixote Pas de Deux" as part of the concert. Moss, a UVSC adjunct faculty member, graduated with an associate's degree from UVSC and recently auditioned and was accepted to Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pa., on a dance merit scholarship, where she also received a presidential scholarship. Moss has performed with Utah Regional Ballet for the past eight years.
