David A. Madsen 10/21/42 ~ 4/5/06 Dave was born October 21, 1942 to Wayne E. and Mildred H. Madsen in Provo, Utah. He was the youngest of four children. He graduated from Highland High School where he played 1st chair saxophone. He then went on to receive a Bachelors of Science degree in electronics from the University of Utah. Dave worked for and retired from AT&T after 32 years. He also enjoyed his employment with Pentalon Apartments. Dave made many wonderful friends through his work and travels. He will be missed by many. He enjoyed horseback riding, golfing, waterskiing and the outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Dave was a very caring, loving man, and seemed to be able to make friends and admirers everywhere he went. He was a member of the LDS Church. Dave is survived by his wife, Elisabeth "Teddy" Ream; his mother, sister, Marion (David) Summerhays; his "girls" (daughters) Keri (Ryan) Cromar, Stacy (Allen) Nielsen, stepson, Bryant (Stephanie) Ream, and his pride and joy, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Geri, his brother, Ron, and also by his sweet granddaughter. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 10, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South. A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the services. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and doctors that helped care for him.
