VICTORIA, British Columbia — Justin Eddy stopped all 24 shots he faced and the Grizzlies scored three goals to shut out the Victoria Salmon Kings 3-0.

Despite nearly even shots on goal in the first period, neither team was able to generate any offence, and the Grizzlies and Salmon Kings found themselves scoreless at the end of 20 minutes.

Utah's Louis Dumont broke open the tie at 3:33 of the second frame, with assists going to Ryan Kinasewich and Garett Cameron. That same line combined for the Grizzlies' second goal of the game, coming at 17:57, but this time it was Kinasewich with the goal, and Dumont and Cameron assisting. The Salmon Kings had 11 shots on net, but were unable to solve Eddy, and the Grizzlies took a 2-0 lead into the second intermission.

Cameron found the back of the net at the 12:28 mark of the third period when he picked up a loose puck on a broken play. Dumont added another assist, and Colt King also assisted on the final Grizzlies goal.
