The Utah Arts Council announces its $10,000 Visual Arts Fellowship deadline is Friday, June 16. Juror for the competition is Jonathan Goodman, art critic and writer for Art in America, ARTnews and Sculpture. Salt Lake City artist John Bell has been commissioned to paint a 12-by-20-foot mural in a New York City penthouse April 15-22. The mural will be a color-field, geometric abstraction.
