Harry J. Retallick "Forever Sweethearts" Harry J. Retallick passed away July 11, 2006 in Sandy, Utah. He was born September 8, 1920 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Luther George and Louise Stephensen Retallick. Harry married his sweetheart Audrey J. Middleton on May 2, 1946 in Lovelock, Nevada and they remained in love for 60 wonderful years. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He served in the U.S. Army and the Utah National Guard for 37 years. He was a veteran of World War II and later retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1980. He was the sweetest and most giving person. Everyone who came in contact with Harry became his friend. He is survived by his loving wife; three daughters, Joan Larkin (Lane), Peggie Nelson (Rex) and Jeri Erdmann (Richard); 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nina Garrett and Cleo Carstensen. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Marvetta, Ardella and Julia; a brother, George. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 15th at 2:30 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine St. A visitation with the family will be held that same day from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So., Sandy.
