An open letter to all the "bad Samaritans" in Spanish Fork: Finally, some headway with the Kiplyn Davis disappearance — no thanks to your selfish inaction. For the past decade literally dozens of you had intimate or cursory knowledge surrounding this case and did nothing. Poor Richard Davis spent hundreds of hours scouring the local canyons and gullies searching for his daughter and no one said a word. How did you sleep at night? How could you pass the Davises on the street and not scream out, "I think I know what happened to your daughter!" It was only after the bushes were beaten, a case re-opened and subpoenas issued that you did something. What a sad commentary on you, your community and man's continual inhumanity to man. And all this because of a ne'r-do-well punk.
