PITTSBURGH — Leaning back in a chair at his locker, hand resting on an outstretched leg, Barry Bonds looked relaxed back in the city where he took his first cuts in the majors.
He joked around and said he enjoyed road trips to Pittsburgh.
Finishing his playing days here is another story.
"I don't think I can come back to Pittsburgh. I'm sorry," said Bonds, who was in the lineup Friday night when the Giants played the last-place Pirates. "I've had a good time here in Pittsburgh. I enjoyed it. ... I've had my time here."
Bonds might not be in San Francisco much longer either. He's in the final season of a five-year, $90 million contract, and the often-injured slugger knows he may be more of a part-timer next season, possibly as an American League DH.
