"And the Banned Played On," Plan-B Theatre Company's fourth-annual, celebrity-studded fund-raiser, is once again focusing on banned music instead of banned literary works.
The celebration of First Amendment rights — on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Rose Wagner Center's Jeanne Wagner Theatre — will feature Sen. Scott McCoy and Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson as emcees.
The event was nearly sold out at press time. Phone ArtTix at 355-2787 for current ticket information. Tickets are $30 each.
