Obituary: Donna Humphreys Hawkins

Donna Humphreys Hawkins 1917 ~ 2006 MAGNA- Donna Humphreys Hawkins, 88 died July 27, 2006 surrounded by her family. Born Nov. 6, 1917 in Cornish, Utah to John Russell Humphreys and Eulalia Johanna Petersen. She met her husband, Claude Barstow Hawkins, at a dance in Hyrum, Utah. They were sealed for time and eternity Dec. 2, 1936 in the Logan Temple. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great Grandmother. She was active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints and held many position. She loved the outdoors and working in her flower garden. She enjoyed camping with friends and family. She and Irene always made holiday cookies for friends and family. Survived by her Daughters DeeAnn Crosby (Verdell) of West Jordan and Claudia Johnson (Jesse) West Valley City. Nineteen grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her daughter Karen Marie Egelund, brother Claine Humphreys, and her parents. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Monday, July 31, 2006 at the Hunter 23rd Park Ward, 3665 W. 6000 S., West Valley City. A viewing will be at the church 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 11-11:45 a. m., Monday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
