Shauna Deane Walton Forsberg She will be missed Shauna Deane Walton Forsberg passed away on July 30, 2006. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Shauna's strength and optimism throughout her illness will forever be an inspiration to her family and friends. Shauna was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 1998. She did not want cancer to define who she was and fought to maintain a normal life, even though suffering through great pain. She did not loose her battle with cancer. Victory was hers in the way she faced this challenge with dignity and grace. Shauna was born on May 19, 1953 to Eldon and Melbadeane Walton. She graduated from Skyline High School. She married Richard Forsberg in 1990. Shauna was presently employed by the United States Trustee Department. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many positions. She was a wonderful teacher and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Shauna lived a life of compassion, devotion and endurance. She always looked for the opportunity to help others. She was a beautiful and talented woman who leaves a lasting legacy of selfless love and joyful traditions. She has many jobs throughout her life, but the one she cherished the most was that of being a mother. She created a home where all enjoyed her cheerful spirit. Her two sons, Brett and Steven, will miss her. She was truly an angel on earth. Shauna is now happily reunited with her father, Eldon Leonard Walton. She is survived by her husband and best friend Richard, her two sons, Steven Forsberg and Brett Pendleton, her mother Melbadeane Walton, her sisters Susan Odell (Les), Sherry Hunt (Al), Saundra Ludwig (Kevin), her brother Corey Walton, and many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. Funeral Services will be held Friday August 4, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Mt. Olympus 7th Ward, 4407 South Fortuna Way (3605 East). Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6:30-9:00 P.M. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr., and10 to 11:30 am prior to the services at the church on Friday. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
