Pat was born August 28, in Ogden Utah and adopted by devoted parents Perry and Shirley Quillen who moved and raised Pat in New York State. Pat loved his life as husband, father, and friend. He seized every opportunity life presented and accomplished whatever he set out to do. He was tough, and head strong, a true New Yorker; living and working each day with an ambition and drive for success that made him easily likable and well respected. He enjoyed hiking in Moab, fishing in Alaska, and most of all spending every available moment with his family and friends. His passion aside from being a family man was. weight lifting, including bench pressing with N.Y.C. manhole covers. Pat graduated from John A. Coleman Catholic High School and attended Pace University in White Plains New York, where he studied journalism. He married Dawn Krom Aug. 2, 1975 and proudly joined the United States Army where he served in Kitzengen Germany with the 1st BN 76 F.A. as crew chief, earning recognition and the Army award for excellence. Pat was employed with Husqvarna Forest and Garden as Director of Sales and Marketing for the western United States and achieved great success with this wonderful company. Pat is survived by his wife Dawn, of 31 years; and shines through his four children, "his greatest accomplishments:" Justin, Scott, Kevin, and Kelli his "brown eyed girl" His beloved friends "Buddy" Krom, Kevin Roxby, David and Mat Ebel, Jonathan Braun, and "Coco" Souvall, as well as his two siblings Andrew and Timothy. Although Pat's life with us was far too short, he still managed to touch so many people with his strength, winning attitude, supreme confidence, and unbreakable spirit; leaving a profound impression on all who know him. He took pride in all his accomplishments and conquered all challenges. He is a great man and will be missed by many. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our Husqvarna, Newcastle, Neighborhood, and Dinner Club families for their continuous love and support.
