The Utah Symphony has announced that the Ferhan and Ferzan Onder Piano Duo concert scheduled for tonight at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Park City has been canceled.
A statement released to the press said, "Despite Utah Symphony & Opera's best efforts working vigorously with immigration officials and members of its delegation, Turkish pianists Ferhan and Ferzan Onder will not appear at the Deer Valley Music Festival."
Patrons who have tickets for Thursday's concert can exchange them for tickets to one of the remaining Deer Valley Music Festival concerts or receive a full refund, either in person at the Abravanel Hall ticket office, 123 W. South Temple, or by calling 533-6683.
