DENVER — An acrobat at Six Flags Elitch Gardens in Denver died Saturday morning after he fell 30 feet while doing a stunt on a stack of chairs at a park performance the night before.
The 19-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was hurt during an Amazing Acrobats of China show, said amusement park spokeswoman Brooke Brasher.
According to Denver police, the man fell and hit his head during the act, in which he climbs to the top of a tall stack of chairs and performs acrobatics.
The victim, from China, was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, where he died early Saturday.
