Kate Muramoto "Our Loving Mother" Kate Kimiye Tsutsui Muramoto passed away peacefully, in comfort, with her family by her side August 16, 2006. Born December 24, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mojiro and Hisae Tsutsui. Kate was an active member of the LDS Church. Her faith in the gospel proved unwavering by the many callings she served. She never complained but only displayed great courage and continued determination. Mom was a gracious and compassionate woman. Survived by sisters: Mabel Okubo, Sandy; Mary (Hiroshi) Aigaki, Denver, CO; eight children: Eric (Nancy), Mesa, AZ; Allison, Murray; Gary (Phyllis), Dillon, CO; Curtis (Janet), West Valley City; Pam (Von) Marshall, Murray; Mark (Jamie), West Valley City; Jackie (Ray) Holt, Friendswood, TX; Becky (Ron) Klepper, Salt Lake City; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack, parents, brothers: Tom and Harry. The family wishes to thank the many friends and neighbors who helped our mother over the years. Funeral services will be held Sat., August 19, 2006, 12:00 noon at the Granger 14th Ward, 2101 West 3100 South. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to service. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
