Joe Rosenthal, the photographer who won a Pulitzer Prize for this image of six servicemen raising the U.S. flag on Iwo Jima, died Sunday at age 94. The photo shows U.S. Marines from the 28th Regiment of the Fifth Division raising the flag atop Mount Suribachi on Feb. 23, 1945.
