A camera phone was confiscated from a man attending a school crossing guard party in May because he was using it to take a picture up a young girl's skirt.

The phone's owner, a 32-year-old Magna man, was charged Monday in 3rd District Court with third-degree felony voyeurism.

Another party guest noticed the man attempting to direct the phone up his 12-year-old daughter's skirt in order to take a picture, according to court documents. Police found a photo on the phone matching the complaint and arrested the man.

The man has several felony convictions in the past decade, including drug possession, criminal mischief and theft. He has served jail time in the past but was not booked for this incident.
