Eleven Utah County residents were among the 55 recipients of this year's Workers Compensation Fund Legacy of Learning Scholarships, which were recently presented at Little America in Salt Lake City.
The Utah County recipients were Jenny Tian, Orem; Jared Datwyler, Provo; Sarah Guinn, Provo; Casey Moon, Provo; Tami Robbins, Provo; Rachel White, Provo; Brianne Faulkner, Saratoga Springs; Lisa Johnson, Spanish Fork; Kimberly Titus, Spanish Fork; and siblings Heather Kemuel and Steven Swallow, American Fork.
WCF's Legacy of Learning scholarship program provides educational assistance to the spouses and children of workers who have lost their lives in work-related accidents. Since 1990, WCF has awarded more than 775 scholarships valued in excess of $1 million. Some are first-time recipients; others have received scholarships before.
