The anti-Bush rally on Aug. 30 isn't an old-fashioned "peace demonstration." There will certainly be many in attendance who are concerned about President Bush's affinity for war.

However, the purpose of the rally is for citizens to express concern over the Bush administration's policies and plans for our future. There will be people in attendance who are worried about education, health care, the environment, immigration, religious fanaticism, human rights, etc.

This is not Rocky Anderson's or Cindy Sheehan's event, although I am thrilled that they have the fortitude to take on Bush. This rally is for those who wish to voice their disapproval.
