Face lift for U.'s U

Construction crews pour new concrete Thursday for the renovated block U at the University of Utah. The U. plans to light it up in time for the first home football game Sept. 9, and an official lighting ceremony will be held Oct. 5. The refurbished U will feature computer-controlled dancing red and white lights.
