Ronald Maxwell Campbell 1928 ~ 2006 Ronald Maxwell Campbell died at his home August 6, 2006 in Murray, Ut. surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 21, 1928 in Murray to Harold (Hiley) and Lenora Dunster Campbell. Ronald's life was altered at age 16 by an accident resulting in a stroke that paralyzed his right side, but that didn't slow him down. He was known for his handsome appearance, cheerful attitude, out-going personality, and relentless work ethic. He will be missed sitting on the corner of 5900 South and Trax line, where he smiled and waved at people passing by. He loved fishing, tending to his beautiful roses and spending time with his family. He married Jeanette Kunz on August 15, 1957 in Sandy, Ut. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked as a dairyman's helper, a janitor at Holy Cross Hospital, Roper's Clothier and Murray City Corp. where he retired in 1991. He is survived by his wife; daughters Tamera (Corey) Johnson, Sandra (Leonard) Hansen, Barbara, Marsha and close family friends Kristie Jensen and Michael Walsh; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister Mary Williams; brothers Glen, Robert, Don Campbell, and Philip Nelson. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, August 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street. A tribute to Ronald's life will be held Wednesday, August 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Tenth Ward, 5750 South Nena Way (100 West) where friends and family may visit prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Internment Murray City Cemetery.
