We want to give a big pat on the back to Utah Power (now Rocky Mountain Power) crews, Qwest workers and some tree-service people for their quick, diligent and helpful work after the windstorm on July 31. It hit our neighborhood on the east bench quite harshly, ripping up two huge pine trees in our front yard, downing power lines in the back yard with one of the downed trees punching a huge hole in our roof.
The men and women who made the repairs were extremely professional and showed honest concern for our welfare. All of us in this neighborhood were without power for more than 24 hours, some longer. But we have to say the work ethic we saw throughout the night in our and our neighbor's back yards was commendable.
