Thomas Perkins 1919 ~ 2006 Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Thomas Perkins, passed away September 11, 2006 in Bountiful. He was born December 17, 1919 in Liberty, Indiana to Thomas and Lillie Bertha Bowman Perkins. Married Rosemary Jerdon February 2, 1943 in Florence, South Carolina. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1961. Served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Tom drove a city bus for 12 years and delivered mail for several years. He was a pioneer in the apartment coin laundry business. Part owner of Kerrybrook Appliance. In his later life he enjoyed traveling and four wheeling with his wife. Active member of the LDS Church where he held many callings. Survived by wife; children, Gary (Holly) Perkins, Ruth Ann (Verl) White, Jane Guy, Jean (Rob) Egan, John (Theresa) Perkins, Patricia Perkins; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a brother Don (Linda) McGee; and sister Esther Russon. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15, 2006, 11 a.m., at the Centerville 11th Ward, 270 N. 300 E., Centerville. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E.
