Barbara Zell Goss Rodriguez 3/15/29 ~ 9/4/06 Our beloved grandparents are eternally together again. Barbara Zell Goss Rodriguez returned to her Heavenly Father on September 4, 2006, one day before her beloved husband Domingo Rodriguez's birthday. Rod passed away March 10, 2003. Barbara was born March 15, 1929 in Vernon Texas. She married J. C. Cavanaugh in 1948. They had one daughter Patricia J. Cavanaugh. J. C. Cavanaugh passed away in the year 1957. Barbara, married Bob M. Evans. While living in Hawaii they adopted Michael M. Evans. Barbara and Bob joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1961. They later divorced. Barbara then married her eternal companion Domingo A Rodriguez, in Elko Nevada, November 8, 1968. They where later sealed in the Bountiful Temple February 12,1998. Barbara and Rod received their BS degrees at Weber State and also their Masters in Education and Psychology at BYU. One of their proudest moments they achieved together. Barbara was an elementary teacher for over 20 years where she influenced many lives. She retired from Wasatch Elementary in Clearfield. Barbara's favorite accomplishment was working at the Bountiful Temple as an ordinance worker for over 10 years. She had a very strong testimony, and loved the people she worked with. Barbara loved eating at the Mandarin also at Market Street Grill, and any type of Mexican restaurant. She has often said, "I just know Heaven cannot be perfect unless it has root beer and spaghetti sauce." Barbara is survived by her daughter Patricia (Pati) Collier her husband, John C. Collier III and son, Michael M. Evans, and his wife, Tammy Evans. Grand-children: Kianna Collier, J. Matthew Collier (Crystal), Andrew Collier (Ashley), Casey Collier (Tori), Malia Nielsen (Alan). Ashley Evans, Alexandra Evans, Samantha Evans, and Michael Evans Jr. Great-grandchildren: Quin Collier, Kaily Collier, Garrett Nielsen, and Arianna Collier. Funeral services will be held at the Kaysville South Stake Center, 900 South Main Street in Kaysville, September 15, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. The viewing will be held that morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. also at the Stake Center. Interment Kaysville City cemetery. Thank-you to all who helped and served Barbara, she will be greatly missed. "Mama, I hope you and Rod are dancing and working together."
