OGDEN — Three people were wounded and two people are in police custody after a drive-by shooting.

Police said it happened at about 9 p.m. Tuesday outside a home on the 600 block of 28th Street. Officers said two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl were sitting on the front porch when a Pontiac Grand Am drove up and someone inside opened fire on them with a shotgun.

"The pellets struck all three victims on the porch," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley said Wednesday. One victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his wounds.

South Ogden Police located the car shortly after the shooting and arrested two teenage boys inside. Conley said the boys, ages 16 and 17, were booked into the Weber Valley Detention Center on investigation of attempted murder, possession of a weapon by a restricted person and possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

Investigators suspect the shooting may be gang-related, Conley said.
