Everyone is invited to participate in today's Utah AIDS Foundation's 18th annual Walk for Life.

The 10K pledge walk from Liberty Park to the Ninth and Ninth Street Festival (900 S. 900 East) will help raise money and awareness for people affected by HIV/AIDS.

"Until we have a cure, all we have is outreach and education," said Stan Penfold, executive director of the Utah AIDS Foundation.

Money raised by by the event helps the foundation provide services to help stop the spread of HIV and support HIV/AIDS patients and their families, Penfold said.
