CHG Healthcare Services announced two staff changes. Michael Peterson was named chief information officer and vice president of information technology. Peterson most recently served as vice president and CIO for a St. Louis firm. He is a graduate of Westminster College and Weber State University. D. Brett Sanford was named director of internal controls. A senior finance professional and certified public accountant, Sanford is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
America First Credit Union announced two management changes. Kent Anderson was named manager of the credit union's Centerville Marketplace branch. Anderson started his career at the credit union in 1983 and has served as branch manager of six America First branches. Heidi Carruth was named manager of the North Salt Lake Winegars branch. She began working at the credit union in 1995 as an imaging clerk in the records department and most recently served as assistant manager of the Bountiful branch.
The law firm of Strong & Hanni announced that Catherine M. Larson and Graden P. Jackson were elected to the firm's board of directors. Larson is a graduate of the University of Utah. Her practice includes medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, general civil litigation and products liability. Jackson is a graduate of BYU, the Daniels College of Business and the University of Denver Law School. His areas of practice include commercial transactions, business litigation and estate planning.
CompHealth has promoted Melissa Byington to vice president of its locum tenens division. Most recently, she served as director of operations. Byington is a graduate of Weber State. CompHealth provides temporary physician staffing and physician permanent placement services.
Advertising agency Publicis West has hired John Labaron as a copywriter. Labaron will write copy for The Canyons Resort, The Tracy Aviary and other clients. He is a graduate of BYU and Columbia University.
The Utah Transit Authority has named Andrea M. Packer as chief communications officer. She will oversee the agency's 20-person staff and administer its board coordination, strategic think tank and organizational development functions. Packer has more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications, advertising and public relations.
Chris Eisenberg has joined the Utah Museum of Natural History at the U. as capital campaign director. Eisenberg, former station manger at a Utah-based public radio station, will work to raise about $35 million of the $65 million needed to build the state's new natural history museum.
ProPay, an Orem-based online credit card processing company, announced that Richard Sorensen, Jim Allred and Darrel Welling have joined the company. Sorensen will serve as chief operating officer, responsible for the development and implementation of the company's operational objectives. Allred will serve as executive vice president of sales and marketing, while Welling will serve as executive vice president of client and customer relations.
Huntsman Corp. has named Russ Stolle as senior vice president of global public affairs and communications, effective Oct. 1. He succeeds Don Olsen, who will retire from the company after 18 years. Stolle currently serves as vice president and deputy general counsel. He previously served as vice president and chief technology counsel. He is a graduate of Valparaiso University and the University of Texas School of Law.
Bountiful-based Fluid Studio, a graphic design and marketing firm, announced it has hired Richard Austin and Luat Nguyen to its design team. Austin is a graduate of Weber State and teaches design classes at Eagle Gate College. Nguyen is a U. graduate and previously worked for Fluid on a freelance basis.
ABC Office, an online retailer of office equipment based in Kaysville, has hired James E. Stock to its international sales department. Stock, a graduate of Utah State University, is also an entrepreneur.
Draper-based Pentalon Construction announced it has hired Dan Woolsey as project manager. Woolsey has more than 25 years of commercial construction experience, working as both superintendent and project manager.
Wm. Shane Topham has become a shareholder in the law firm of Callister Nebeker & McCullough. Topham is a graduate of the U. College of Law and joined the firm in November 2005. His practice includes business and real property transactions and litigation, land use issues and local government law. Topham also serves as city attorney for the city of Cottonwood Heights.

Mark and Associates, was elected NAWBO-SLC's president-elect.
