Weber State University's Department of Visual Arts has named Monika Del Bosque as the new gallery director of the Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery. Del Bosque has an MFA in Studio Arts and a certificate in museum collections management from John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, Calif.

The Kimball Art Center, 638 Park Ave., Park City, invites students ages 13 through 18, living in Summit or Wasatch counties, to join the Kimball Young Artists' Academy.
