Skyline High students placed 16th in a national math competition last month.

Coach Adella Croft led the students through the 2006 Ciphering Time Trials, a national mathematics contest administered by National Assessment & Testing, the school reported. Student Kyu Young Kim placed 12th in the 11th-grade division, and Kevin Chen Ni placed 25th in the 12th-grade division.
