I am the chairman of Jordan High's Centennial Celebration Task Force and wish to present the facts about Jordan High School and the centennial. The school will begin celebrating the centennial at this year's graduation. Task force members have spent countless hours planning activities, dances, athletic contests, celebrations and the success and progress of one of the oldest high schools in the state.
Regarding the letter from John Murphy: It is also a fact that the Algebra II classes that I have instructed for the last 20 years will be offered next year and the years to come. In addition to algebra, Jordan High will be offering Honors classes in all of core subjects.
You may be thinking, "This is one school; what does it have to do with me?"
Your school will, at some time in the future, be the next school to celebrate 100 exceptional years of education. I hope your school enjoys its celebration the way I know I'm going to enjoy Jordan's.
