Obituary: Mildred Kowallis Goddard

Mildred Kowallis Goddard

1912 ~ 2007

Mildred Kowallis Goddard was born September 2, 1912 in River Heights, near Logan, Utah. She was the youngest of seven living children. She married Ralph H. Goddard, her husband of 72 years, in the Salt Lake Temple March 18, 1935.She died of natural causes Sept. 26th, leaving behind her husband; a son, Reed (Jean); and daughter, Justine Kelsey (Stephen) and Louise, all of Salt Lake City; a brother, Richard Kowallis of Orem; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild, all of whom are already missing her greatly. She was a gracious, gentle, generous lady who leaves a legacy of wisdom and example and a strong testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Viewing will be held at Wasatach Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr., Sunday, September 30th from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr., Monday October 1st at 2 p.m.

Her family gives special thanks to Highland Care Center staff for their loving care.
