MOAB — A Park City man died Sunday during a skydiving event at the Canyonlands Airfield.
Christopher Race Price, 26, was participating in the fourth year of Skydive Moab, billed "The Most Extreme Experience in the Heart of America's Most Extreme Landscape."
Price was jumping with a group of 22 other people about noon and was one of just three using a wingsuit, Grand County Sheriff's Deputy T.J. Brewer said in a press release.
When the group landed, Price was unaccounted for. They spent about 30 minutes looking before they came upon his body.
The sheriff's office said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
