Obituary: Pearl Oldham Scott

Pearl Oldham Scott

1922 ~ 2007

Pearl Oldham Scott, age 85, passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.Pearl was born August 22,1922 in Smithfield, Utah to Ella and Sam Oldham. She married Dean C. Scott April 23, 1940. Dean preceded her in death in January 1963. Pearl

attended Cyprus High School in

Magna, Utah. Following her

marriage to Dean she worked for many years at the Tooele Army

Depot, retiring after 36 years of Federal service in the Procurement Division. She was an avid sports fan especially hunting and fishing. She was a state bowling champion. Pearl had a great love for her daughters, grandchildren and great-grand-children.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Dean, her parents and brothers Carl, Ruland, Jack and

sister Marvella. She is survived by her daughters DeAnn (Sidney) Hullinger and Pamela (Patrick) Dunlavy, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Donna Oldham.

At Pearl's request graveside

services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs. Oct. 11, 2007, at the Tooele City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Tate Mortuary from

1-1:45 p.m. Pearl was loved deeply by her family and will be greatly missed. We express our sincere
