Salt Lake/Yuma ~ James Ivan Wilson was born on January 13, 1918 in Lewisville, Idaho to James LeRoy and Maude Lee Wilson and passed away on September 19, 2007 in Yuma Arizona.

He married Dorothy M. Brown; they were the parents of four children. They were later divorced. He then married May F. Jensen.

Ivan served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a truck driver for 43 years, which he took great pride in. He received many safe driving awards. He enjoyed road trips on his Harley with May and his many friends. He was known to many and loved by all.

Ivan was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Bob; and son, Mike. He is survived by: his loving and devoted wife, May; three children, Jean Erickson (Milt), Laura Brundle (Dave), and Lynda Robinson; daughter-in-law, Vicky Wilson; and special niece (like a daughter) Tammy Love; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way; sister, Rose French; brothers, Galon, Fred and Wesley Wilson.

Niche side services will be held on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E. 7800 S. (Bengal Blvd). Family and friends may call at that time.
