1925 ~ 2007

Hurley Keith Riley, our beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007.He was born February 1, 1925, in Salt Lake City to Joshua and Agnes Jane Riley. He married Myrtle Evelyn Olorenshaw on April 17, 1948, and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 25, 1948. Hurley served in the US Army during World War II. He was employed for many years with the Union Pacific Railroad.

Hurley was a very warm, loving individual. He always put everyone ahead of himself and would have done anything for his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by his beloved sister, Florence Allmendinger; five children, Claudia (Mike) Weaver, Brent (Orlene) Riley, Pam (Mark) Maehr, Judy Parker, Joyce (Archie) Sauvageau; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his beloved wife, sweetheart and best friend of 59 years, Myrtle Evelyn Riley, whom he couldn't bear to go on without.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 19450 E. 10600 S. where viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 12, and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Online condolences at larkinmortuary.com
