Carroll Dea Nunley Holmstead

1935 ~ 2007

DRAPER/SPRING CITY- Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed from this life on October 9, 2007. Carroll was a very kindhearted, generous, loving person. She always had great words of wisdom and a very happy

disposition. Someone who was

always there for you and who cared deeply for you. She has enjoyed serving in various church callings.

Carroll was born November 17, 1935 at home in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Russell Nunley and Lola Barney.

She is preceded in death by her brother Jay Liston and sister Betty Fowkes. Surviving brothers are

Vernon Liston, West Jordan; and Larry (Lenis) Nunley, Ephriam.

She graduated from Jordan High school in 1954. There she met and then married her high school sweetheart, Lee Glade Holmstead in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 1955. He deeply loves and cherishes her. Carroll's talents were numerous. Her true talent is being an excellent wife and mother.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: LeAnn (Don) Payne, Lehi; Dinah (Ritchie) Svedin, West Jordan; Kendell Lee (Janae) Holmstead, Draper; Byron Dee (Jan), Everett, WA; Julie (Chris) Hirschi, Salt Lake City. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Carroll is a beautiful woman and an example to all of us. She is greatly loved and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be Saturday Oct. 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Spring City Chapel. A viewing will be held also at the Spring City Chapel Friday night 6:30-7 p.m., and again 9:30-10:30 a.m. Sat. prior to the funeral. In lieu of

flowers please donate to Primary Children's in her name. Families Are Forever!
