Denial of genocide troubling

I find it disappointing that President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, Robert Gates and eight past secretaries of state would go so far as to urge Congress not to pass a resolution condemning the Turkish genocide of hundreds of thousands of Armenians during World War I. Their reasoning — it would tarnish our relationship with a NATO ally.

If they can condemn the idiotic denial of the Holocaust by an Iranian dictator but look the other way about denial of this genocide by the Turkish government, truly there is need for change in leadership and a critical examination of who our allies should be.
