1918 ~ 2007

Robert "Bob" Kimball Davis died on Oct. 10, 2007 at the age of 89 in Boise, Idaho.Bob was born Aug. 24, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alfred Woolley Davis and Naomi Pearl Kimball. He married Audrey Jane Slaughter Oct. 26, 1937 in Evanston, Wyoming, their marriage was later solemnized in 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bob worked for several years in the trucking industry as an office manager and accountant.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until his death having served in several positions.

He served honorably in World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps.

He was the neighborhood handyman helping where he could. Later in life he enjoyed being with children, especially his great-grand children.

Bob is survived by his sons Robert N. Davis (Bobbie) of Avondale, AZ and Herbert W. Davis of Eugene, OR and a daughter, Elaine D. Martini (Arthur) of Boise, ID. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Audrey; and their daughter Barbara Jane Davis.

Funeral service Monday, Oct. 15th, 1 p.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple Street in Salt Lake City, where friends and family may call on Sun. 6-8 p.m. and also on Mon. one hour prior to the services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
